This being the first year of the institute and approvals just having been sought, the recruitment process is underway and the final appointment of the faculty shall be made by the time the academic session starts by the end of July.
Keeping in with the philosophy of the institute to impart education of the highest quality, an effort is being made to recruit the finest possible faculty available, that is capable, experienced and have a proven record of delivering education of highest quality, in the best interests of the students.
Educosm also believes that it is in the best interests of the students that they are presented with various perspectives and theories on the same topic so that they can develop a wider and deeper understanding of the issues and therefore, the institute has emphasised on the invitation of guest faculty expert in their own fields from the best known institutes, corporate bodies, business houses and other walks of life, so that this amalgam of the best brains in the world can enrich the students with their knowledge, wisdom and experience.
Mentoring
The permanent faculty shall also be assigned the dual role of team leaders and mentors for the groups of students put under their tutelage. The mentors shall take personal interest in the progress of the students, identify and work on their strong and weak points, provide guidance regarding career and their overall wellbeing. This we believe will result in a fruitful relation between the faculty and the students and result in faster and more worthwhile development of the students.
Monitoring
The HR department shall also maintain profiles of each student right from their admission to their performance in the curricular and co-curricular activities and keep an eye on the graph of the students. Personal attention and counselling shall be accorded to each student, because we believe that every student who is an educosmian is our responsibility and his future is intertwined with ours.
Regular updates about the students’ assessment shall be communicated to the parents.
Alumni
Educosm also wishes to develop a strong alumni association, where the motto shall be ‘once an educosmian, always an educosmian’ .Our hope is that every educosmian who passes out from the institute shall chart out an exceptional career and life for oneself, and in the years to come the educosmian community in unison with each other shall be a driving force of significance, and a small step taken today may result in a phenomenon unprecedented.
